About Us
In 2019, Paul was one of the first to meet all the higher education requirements set by The Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA).
In 2016, he completed a Master of Financial Planning (KAPLAN), was accepted as a Certified Financial Planner by the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a Fellow Chartered Practitioner by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA). In 2017, he registered with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). These designations are the highest available from the three peak bodies in Australian Financial Planning.
Outside of his career, Paul is keen to constantly challenge and improve himself, embarking on many adventures while working through his own “bucket list.”
He has been fortunate to travel extensively, including to several third world countries like Cambodia, where he participated in a Habitat for Humanity Expedition in 2009. Just six weeks later, he crossed Kokoda. In 2010, for his 40th birthday, he climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with his best friends.
Paul enjoys riding his motorbike in his spare time. He has abseiled and ziplined off city skyscrapers, sky dived, bungee jumped, hot air ballooned, para-glided, white water rafted, rock climbed, bob sledded, paddled to Rottnest, trekked the Kimberley, and even fought a bull in Mexico (a small bull which was not harmed in the process).
Following 25 years of playing Australian Rules football, Paul took up squash, playing multiple times weekly to keep fit and is Treasurer of the Subiaco Kings Squash Club. He regularly volunteers as a Justice of the Peace performing civic duties and has been a regular volunteer with the Red Cross Soup Kitchen and The Urban Descent abseiling events around Australia. Paul spent many years as a student at the School of Practical Philosophy in Perth where Hugh Jackman also attended.
His two favourite world locations are Kings Park in West Perth and Cable Beach in Broome.
